Sharif, Assistant Instructor, has previous experience opening and operating a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym with owner and head instructor Michael Murrell. He researched, budgeted, and was responsible for renovating the space for operational use. He also ran the day-to-day operations of the gym and maintained the facility, while also acting as the assistant instructor. Sharif also has nearly a decade of experience teaching just Martial Arts, primarily Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Separate from his experience opening and operating a gym and teaching as an instructor, he also has deep ties, both, to the martial arts community in the Bay Area; but also to the the residents of Daly City and the surrounding cities as well. Further, he has experience opening and operating his own apparel and online retail business as well. All of these skills and experience will allow TSN Martial Group LLC dba Lightning Jiu-Jitsu to leverage his knowledge and expertise to start off on strong footing. Lightning Jiu-Jitsu will be able to open its gym quickly and efficiently and be able to expand its offerings in less time with his knowledge and expertise.
