Nicko Requesto

Nicko Requesto is a dedicated Marine, martial arts enthusiast, and passionate community advocate. Born in March 1989, he has spent his life blending a commitment to service with a deep desire to help others through martial arts and personal development.

In March 2007, at the age of 18, Nicko enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, eager to serve his country and develop the skills and discipline that the military is known for. His service reflects a strong commitment to both his country and his community. Alongside his military career, Nicko developed a passion for martial arts, particularly Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). As a skilled practitioner, he found a unique way to combine his discipline from the military with the technique and strategy of BJJ.

Over time, Nicko became a dedicated coach, using his expertise to teach others the values of self-defense, fitness, and mental fortitude. His coaching style is rooted in the same principles that shaped his military career: perseverance, respect, and personal growth. One of Nicko’s greatest aspirations is to give back to the community. Through his coaching, he seeks to empower first responders, military veterans, and law enforcement officers with the practical skills and confidence they need in both their professional and personal lives.

By teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Nicko is not just imparting physical techniques but also helping these individuals build resilience, teamwork, and discipline, which can be crucial in the high-pressure environments they face.

Nicko continues to train, mentor, and inspire others, with a clear vision to create a positive impact in the lives of those who serve and protect their communities. His dedication to service, both in the Marines and on the mat, is his mission.
